David Wise is 23 years old. After stating that what led Wise to Olympic gold was his &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcolympics.com\/news\/david-wises-alternative-lifestyle-leads-olympic-gold?ctx=olympic-journey\">alternative lifestyle,<\/a>&#8221; NBC describes him as follows:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>At such a young age, Wise has the lifestyle of an adult. He wears a <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Regal Lager, Inc.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.regallager.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Baby Bjorn<\/a> <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Baby transport\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Baby_transport\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">baby carrier<\/a> around the house. He also attends church regularly and says he could see himself becoming a pastor a little later down the road.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Not exactly the picture you had in mind while watching him nail two double corks wearing <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Wide leg jeans\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wide_leg_jeans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">baggy pants<\/a>. Wise is, well, wise. He knows where his head should be at all time, focused on being the best father and husband he can be.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This man has chosen to be a grown-up at an age when many of his peers are still acting as if they are in junior high.
