They should explain why they think more debt is good for the economy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/blogs\/on-the-money\/budget\/327363-reid-wants-1t-debt-hike-to-end-of-2014\">The Hill<\/a> yesterday:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Party leaders of the United States Senate\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Party_leaders_of_the_United_States_Senate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Senate Majority Leader<\/a> Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is moving legislation to push the debt limit until Dec. 31, 2014, well beyond next year\u2019s midterm election.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Senate aides estimate the bill would increase federal borrowing authority by about $1.1 trillion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Is there any doubt that this whole discussion is based on politics and not based on what is good for America and Americans?
