{"id":2017,"date":"2010-07-02T12:05:00","date_gmt":"2010-07-02T12:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=2017"},"modified":"2010-07-02T12:05:00","modified_gmt":"2010-07-02T12:05:00","slug":"el_paso_city_hall_takes_fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=2017","title":{"rendered":"El Paso City Hall Takes Fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday <a href=\"http:\/\/bigjournalism.com\/acary\/2010\/07\/01\/el-paso-city-hall-takes-cross-border-fire-msm-yawns\/\">Big Journalism<\/a>&nbsp;reported on a story that doesn&#8217;t seem to have gotten too much coverage in the mainstream media.&nbsp; The El Paso City Hall was hit by seven bullets believed to have been fired by one or more AK-47s from across the border.&nbsp; No one was hurt, but needless to say the experience was somewhat unnerving.&nbsp; This is the first time since the drug war began in Juarez in 2008 that the gun fire has come across the border in El Paso.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>The story also reports:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p><em>&#8220;Similar cross-border shootings have occurred in other cities.
