{"id":19986,"date":"2013-08-02T21:27:38","date_gmt":"2013-08-03T01:27:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=19986"},"modified":"2013-08-02T21:27:38","modified_gmt":"2013-08-03T01:27:38","slug":"underneath-the-jobs-numbers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=19986","title":{"rendered":"Underneath The Jobs Numbers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/labor-force-participation-rate-falls-124448472.html\">Yahoo Finance<\/a> posted an article today that included the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Labor force\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Labor_force\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Labor Force Participation Rate<\/a> in the latest jobs numbers.<\/p>\n<p>According to the article:<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_9_1_1_1375492750600_1016\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>The civilian labor force decreased by 37,000 to 155.80 million in July, while those not in the labor force rose by 240,000 to 89.96 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The decrease in the percentage of Americans in the labor force&#8211;63.4% last month from 63.5% the month before&#8211;is one of the main reasons for the drop in the unemployment rate&#8211;to 7.4% in July from 7.6% in June.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the jobs added were <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Part-time\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Part-time\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">part time jobs<\/a> and many jobs changed from full time to part time. <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">ObamaCare<\/a> has created some serious problems for the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667 (United%20States)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">American<\/a> economy (ObamaCare is responsible for the growth of part time jobs) and will continue to do so until it is defunded and stopped.
