We saw with <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Obamacare<\/a> what happens when Congress rushes to pass such unwieldy legislation.<\/li>\n<li>The Schumer\/Hoeven\/Corker \u201cborder security\u201d amendment to the deal <strong>doesn\u2019t require that the border actually be secured<\/strong>, nor does it require any security enhancements before legalization occurs.<\/li>\n<li>This legislation <em>makes the same mistake of the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Immigration_Reform_and_Control_Act_of_1986\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">1986 amnesty<\/a><\/em> \u2014 legalization today for the false promise of border security tomorrow. <strong>It will encourage more illegal immigration and must be stopped<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is also a video posted on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?feature=player_embedded&amp;v=x-cy7y-pUNw#at=16\">YouTube<\/a> explaining Senator Cruz&#8217;s objections to the bill:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/x-cy7y-pUNw?rel=0\" height=\"292\" width=\"501\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We need to fix our immigration system.
