My Way News<\/a> is reporting today that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)<\/a> is about to pay $70 million in employee bonuses. In April, a directive written by Dannie Weffel, a former budget official who has since been appointed acting IRS commissioner,\u00a0 cancelled discretionary bonuses because of spending cuts.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

\u00a0Sen. Chuck Grassley<\/a> of Iowa<\/a> says his office has learned that the IRS is executing an agreement with the employees’ union on Wednesday to pay the bonuses. Grassley says the bonuses should be canceled under an April directive from the White House<\/a> budget office.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So does the government control the IRS or does the employees’ union control the IRS?<\/p>\n

So let me get this straight–because of sequestration, school children cannot tour the White House, but IRS employees get $70 million in employee bonuses, and the President<\/a> and his family tour the world for $100 million.<\/p>\n
