The media silence on the trial of Kermit Gosnell<\/a> is deafening, but how do the things he did compare with what goes on at other abortion<\/a> clinics? Yesterday the New York Post<\/a> posted a story (updated today) about a sting operation<\/a> in a Bronx<\/a> abortion clinic.<\/p>\n

The women went in claiming to be 23 weeks pregnant (abortion is legal in New York up until 24 weeks) seeking an abortion.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

In an exchange laden with euphemisms<\/a> on both sides to conceal the gruesome nature of the discussion, the pregnant woman<\/a> wondered aloud what would happen if \u201cit\u201d (her fetus) emerged from her intact and alive.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The employee assigned to take note of medical history<\/a> reassured the woman, \u201cWe never had that for ages\u201d (a seeming admission that a baby did survive abortion at the clinic at least once) but that should \u201cit\u201d \u201csurvive this,\u201d \u201cThey would still have to put it in like a jar, a container, with solution<\/a>, and send it to the lab. . . . We don\u2019t just throw it out in the garbage.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oh, and this innocuous-sounding \u201csolution\u201d was, of course, a toxic substance<\/a> suitable for killing an infant.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLike, what if it was twitching?\u201d asked the pregnant woman.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe solution will make it stop,\u201d said the clinic employee. \u201cThat\u2019s the whole purpose of the solution . . . It will automatically stop. It won\u2019t be able to breathe anymore.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
