Hamas<\/a> has repeatedly told Israel<\/a>, “We love death more than you love life.” That is the culture of Palestine<\/a>–Hamas rules Palestine. This week there was a vivid illustration of that statement.<\/p>\n

Yesterday John Hinderaker<\/a> at Power Line<\/a> reported that Mariam Farhat<\/a> died<\/a> in Gaza City<\/a> after a long illness. She had been previously elected to the legislature in Gaza. She was the mother of six sons, but three died while committing suicide missions in Israel.<\/p>\n

The article reports the touching story of her son Mohammed<\/a>:<\/p>\n

In a video that mother and son made together just before the attack, Farhat said: \u201cI wish I had 100 boys like Mohammad. I\u2019d sacrifice them for the sake of God.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I see all the Jews in Palestine<\/a> killed, that will be enough for me,\u201d his mother said on camera. \u201cI wish he will kill as many as he can, so they will be scared.\u201d \u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

The video showed Mohammed holding hands with his mother, who prayed for him to become a \u201cmartyr,\u201d the term Palestinians use for militants killed in attacks on Israelis. Armed with grenades and automatic rifles, he broke into a study hall, killing five seminary students before he was shot dead by a soldier.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hamas supervised Mrs. Farhat’s funeral.<\/p>\n

After reading Mrs. Farhat’s statement and seeing that she was honored for the sacrifice of her sons, I have no reason to believe there will ever be peace in the Middle East unless this kind of thinking changes.<\/p>\n
