{"id":17325,"date":"2013-01-26T22:05:31","date_gmt":"2013-01-27T03:05:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=17325"},"modified":"2013-01-26T22:05:31","modified_gmt":"2013-01-27T03:05:31","slug":"a-wise-decision-by-a-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=17325","title":{"rendered":"A Wise Decision By A Court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2013\/01\/26\/judge-rules-epa-cant-mandate-use-of-nonexistent-biofuels\/\">Daily Caller<\/a> is reporting today that the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States_Court_of_Appeals_for_the_District_of_Columbia_Circuit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia<\/a> has ruled that the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States Environmental Protection Agency\" href=\"http:\/\/www.epa.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Environmental Protection Agency<\/a> cannot force refiners to use cellulosic <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Biofuels\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wikinvest.com\/industry\/Biofuels\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikinvest\">biofuels<\/a>, which aren&#8217;t commercially available.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>The court sided with the country\u2019s <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Chief Oil &amp; Gas\" href=\"http:\/\/www.chiefog.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">chief oil and gas<\/a> lobby, the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"American Petroleum Institute\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/American_Petroleum_Institute\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">American Petroleum Institute<\/a>, in striking down the 2012 EPA mandate that would have forced refineries to <a href=\"http:\/\/fuelfix.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/25\/court-rejects-epa-biofuel-mandate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">purchase<\/a> more than $8 million in credits for 8.65 million of gallons of the cellulosic biofuel.
