{"id":1615,"date":"2010-02-14T06:26:13","date_gmt":"2010-02-14T06:26:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=1615"},"modified":"2010-02-14T06:26:13","modified_gmt":"2010-02-14T06:26:13","slug":"the_house_of_representatives_a","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=1615","title":{"rendered":"The House Of Representatives And Healthcare"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/blogs\/beltway-confidential\/Is-Pelosi-now-100-votes-short-on-Obamacare-84258422.html\">Washington Examiner<\/a>&nbsp;posted an article on Friday suggesting that the House of Representatives may be as much as one hundred votes short of being able to pass the President&#8217;s healthcare reform bill.&nbsp; The article points out that many Congressman in the House are frustrated at being asked to vote on unpopular bills that then die in the Senate.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>The article points out:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\" dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-FAMILY: 'Verdana', 'sans-serif'; COLOR: black; FONT-SIZE: 9pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA\"><em><font face=\"Verdana\">&#8220;&#8221;&#8216;Both ends of the Capitol &#8212; the House and the Senate &#8212; are starting to wonder if they&#8217;re on their own,&#8217; the official continued. &#8216;You have a lot of frustration there. And the White House&#8217;s reaction to all of that seems to be, &#8216;Run against Congress&#8217; &#8212; which, as you can imagine, doesn&#8217;t go over very well with House members.
