{"id":15997,"date":"2012-10-16T13:44:11","date_gmt":"2012-10-16T17:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=15997"},"modified":"2012-10-16T13:44:11","modified_gmt":"2012-10-16T17:44:11","slug":"doctors-comments-on-obamacare","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=15997","title":{"rendered":"Doctor&#8217;s Comments on ObamaCare"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nypost.com\/p\/news\/opinion\/opedcolumnists\/why_doctors_hate_obamacare_pTUi4Xq0STVKrdegpi1N1M\">New York Post<\/a> posted an article today about a survey done among <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Doctors (2000 TV series)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/b006mh9v\" rel=\"homepage\" target=\"_blank\">Doctors<\/a> asking for their opinion of Obamacare.<\/p>\n<p>These are some of the comments reported in the article:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Under <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">ObamaCare<\/a>, we\u2019re being asked to provide the same <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"High tech\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/High_tech\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">high-tech<\/a> service with more restrictions and regulations to more patients and to be paid less for doing so.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Do you honestly think that a cardiologist who is being paid $280 by <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Medicare (United States)\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Medicare_%28United_States%29\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">Medicare<\/a> for performing and interpreting the same <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Echocardiography\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Echocardiography\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">echocardiogram<\/a> he was paid $560 for two years ago is happy?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>How do you think he will feel if the test he trained for many years to learn is suddenly ruled excessive by ObamaCare\u2019s new Medicare <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Independent Payment Advisory Board\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Independent_Payment_Advisory_Board\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">Independent Payment Advisory Board<\/a>?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The article reports that 55 percent of doctors surveyed said they\u2019d repeal and replace ObamaCare, as Romney says he would, compared to only 40 percent who said they\u2019d implement and improve it.<\/p>\n<p>I think we need to listen to the people who will be impacted by ObamaCare if it is not repealed, and we need to remember that we as patients will also be impacted in a negative way.<\/p>\n<div class=\"zemanta-pixie\" style=\"margin-top: 10px; height: 15px;\"><a class=\"zemanta-pixie-a\" title=\"Enhanced by Zemanta\" href=\"http:\/\/www.zemanta.com\/?px\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"zemanta-pixie-img\" style=\"border: none; float: right;\" src=\"http:\/\/img.zemanta.com\/zemified_e.png?x-id=ef8fa547-b0b3-4250-ada6-70df2734757a\" alt=\"Enhanced by Zemanta\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s New York Post posted an article today about a survey done among Doctors asking for their opinion of Obamacare.
