{"id":15891,"date":"2012-10-11T20:34:40","date_gmt":"2012-10-12T00:34:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=15891"},"modified":"2012-10-11T20:34:40","modified_gmt":"2012-10-12T00:34:40","slug":"an-interesting-twist-on-the-massachusetts-senate-election","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=15891","title":{"rendered":"An Interesting Twist On The Massachusetts Senate Election"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weeklystandard.com\/blogs\/are-unions-fining-members-who-dont-support-warren_654203.html\">Weekly Standard<\/a> posted an article (and a video) stating that union members who showed up to support Senate candidate <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Elizabeth Warren\" href=\"http:\/\/www.law.harvard.edu\/faculty\/directory\/index.html?id=82\" rel=\"homepage\" target=\"_blank\">Elizabeth Warren<\/a> during the Wednesday night debate in <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Springfield, Massachusetts\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=42.1013888889,-72.5902777778&amp;spn=0.1,0.1&amp;q=42.1013888889,-72.5902777778 (Springfield%2C%20Massachusetts)&amp;t=h\" rel=\"geolocation\" target=\"_blank\">Springfield, Massachusetts<\/a>, were told that they would be fined if they were not there.<\/p>\n<p>This is the video:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/video.weeklystandard.com\/embed\/player\/?layout=&amp;widget_template_cid=black&amp;content=L711RB1XT1MLL10Q&amp;widget_type_cid=svp\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"420\" height=\"345\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The article states:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>This isn&#8217;t the first instance in a <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Massachusetts Senate\" href=\"http:\/\/www.malegislature.gov\/People\/Senate\" rel=\"homepage\" target=\"_blank\">Massachusetts Senate<\/a> race where unions have been accused of generating fake grassroots support for the Democrat.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>In 2010, before <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Scott Brown\" href=\"http:\/\/www.brownforussenate.com\/\" rel=\"homepage\" target=\"_blank\">Brown<\/a>&#8216;s victory in the special election, a union member wearing a shirt supporting the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Democratic Party (United States)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.democrats.org\/\" rel=\"homepage\" target=\"_blank\">Democratic candidate<\/a>, <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Martha Coakley\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Martha_Coakley\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">Martha Coakley<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=S518s32jjic\" rel=\"nofollow\">told a local blogger on camera<\/a> that he had been paid $50 to wear the shirt but that he was actually voting for Brown.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t believe that all the union support for Ms. Warren is real.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"zemanta-pixie\" style=\"margin-top: 10px;
