{"id":15695,"date":"2012-09-27T13:10:49","date_gmt":"2012-09-27T17:10:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=15695"},"modified":"2012-09-27T13:10:49","modified_gmt":"2012-09-27T17:10:49","slug":"sometimes-things-just-get-ridiculous","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=15695","title":{"rendered":"Sometimes Things Just Get Ridiculous"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday <a href=\"http:\/\/cnsnews.com\/news\/article\/iran-warns-citizens-about-traveling-canada\">CNS News<\/a> reported that the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Iran\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=35.6833333333,51.4166666667&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=35.6833333333,51.4166666667 (Iran)&amp;t=h\" rel=\"geolocation\" target=\"_blank\">Iran<\/a>&#8216;s Foreign Ministry has warned Iranians traveling in <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Canada\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=45.4,-75.6666666667&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=45.4,-75.6666666667 (Canada)&amp;t=h\" rel=\"geolocation\" target=\"_blank\">Canada<\/a> to be alert to danger.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>\u201cForeign Ministry said in a statement that based on current evidences, <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Islamophobia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Islamophobia\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">Islamphobia<\/a> and Iranphobia have not stopped in Canada, rather escalated over the past few days,&#8221;<a href=\"http:\/\/old.irna.ir\/News\/Politic\/Foreign-Ministry-cautions-Iranians-against-Canada-travel\/80342362\"> reads a report<\/a> from the state-run <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Islamic Republic News Agency\" href=\"http:\/\/www.irna.ir\/\" rel=\"homepage\" target=\"_blank\">Islamic Republic News Agency<\/a> (IRNA), which also quoted the ministry as stating,\u00a0 &#8220;Such a trend has influenced behavior of the governmental and <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Non-governmental organization\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Non-governmental_organization\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">non-governmental<\/a> authorities in the country.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>The \u201cCanadian government\u2019s <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Double standard\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Double_standard\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">double-standard<\/a> about <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Human rights\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Human_rights\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">human rights<\/a> has been the focus of the world and Canadian public opinion,\u201d said the Foreign Ministry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last month the Canadian government issued a statement warning <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Canadians\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Canadians\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">Canadians<\/a> not to travel to Iran.
