Speeches like this are simply one more reason I think America should resign from the United Nations<\/a> and evict them from New York City<\/a>. Unfortunately, today it was our President who making the speech.<\/p>\n

The U.K. Mail<\/a> posted a few highlights from the speech. The article includes other excerpts also along these lines:<\/p>\n

Obama said that we should ‘remember that Muslims<\/a> have suffered the most at the hands of extremism’ and that ‘the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam<\/a>‘.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

There was near silence when he added: ‘Yet\u00a0to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ<\/a> is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust<\/a> is denied.’<\/strong><\/p>\n

What? When did Christians<\/a> conduct suicide bombings to blow up Muslims? When did Christians conduct terrorists raids on school children in Beslan<\/a>? When did Christians fly planes into the World Trade Center<\/a>? When did Christians attack Embassies?<\/p>\n

There is a problem is some strains of Islam with the idea of peaceful co-existence. Unfortunately, the Koran<\/a> does not support peaceful co-existence. Because of the principle of abrogation, the peaceful verses of the Koran are superseded by verses that call the for killing of those who are Jewish or Gentile who refuse to convert to Islam. I am not even sure that Jews are given the option of converting. That is not a recipe for peaceful co-existence.<\/p>\n
