Ambassador to Egypt<\/a> Anne Patterson \u201cdid not permit U.S. Marine guards to carry live ammunition<\/a>,\u201d according to multiple reports<\/a> on U.S. Marine Corps<\/a> blogs spotted by Nightwatch. \u201cShe neutralized any U.S. military capability<\/a> that was dedicated to preserve her life and protect the US<\/a> Embassy.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

It really is a shame that Americans are not allowed to sue the government. The article reports that if this information is true, Ambassador Patterson failed to do her duty to protect<\/a> American interests in Egypt. The American Embassy is considered U. S. territory, and Ms. Patterson’s job (and oath of office) is to protect that territory.<\/p>\n

The article further reports:<\/p>\n

Given that the siege of the Cairo<\/a> embassy unfolded over many hours, the source wondered if new orders pertaining to the rules of engagement were ever issued.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ambassador Patterson was in Washington D.C.<\/a> during the attacks, according to reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI cannot believe that over an eight hour period that nobody \u2026 in that chain of command did not ask those questions of their superiors,\u201d the source said. \u201cThese protestors did not just appear and within 20 minutes climb the wall.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Marine spokesperson at the Pentagon<\/a> denied the Free Beacon<\/em>\u2019s report in a statement to Fox News<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of course he did. I think we need some new security people.<\/p>\n
