{"id":1538,"date":"2010-01-19T10:16:42","date_gmt":"2010-01-19T10:16:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=1538"},"modified":"2010-01-19T10:16:42","modified_gmt":"2010-01-19T10:16:42","slug":"something_to_be_concerned_abou","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=1538","title":{"rendered":"Something To Be Concerned About As Massachusetts Votes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today is the day that Massachusetts votes to fill the Senate seat vacated by the death of Senator Ted Kennedy.&nbsp;&nbsp; Senator Kennedy was elected to the Senate in a special election in 1962 to fill the seat vacated when his brother John became President.&nbsp; He could be counted on by the Democrats as a powerful liberal voice who wielded a significant amount of power.&nbsp; Whoever replaces him will be joining the Senate as the newest member.&nbsp; That fact in itself changes the power structure of the Senate.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtontimes.com\/weblogs\/watercooler\/2010\/jan\/16\/ed-schultz-id-cheat-keep-brown-winning\/\">Washington Times<\/a>&nbsp;reported on Saturday that Ed Schultz, one of the newscasters on MSNBC, stated, &#8220;I tell you what, if I lived in Massachusetts I&#8217;d try to vote 10 times. I don&#8217;t know if they&#8217;d let me or not, but I&#8217;d try to. Yeah, that&#8217;s right. I&#8217;d cheat to keep these bastards out.
