The Daily Caller<\/a> posted a story last night that shows how the media can alter the appearance of an event by what they choose to show the viewers.<\/p>\n

During the the Republican National Convention<\/a> on Tuesday, MSNBC<\/a> was very selective in their coverage of the event.<\/p>\n

The Democrats have claimed for a long time that the\u00a0Republican party<\/a> is “the party of old white people, devoid of diversity and probably racist.”<\/p>\n

If you were watching MSNBC\u2019s coverage of the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday night, you might believe those assertions, since missing from the coverage was nearly every ethnic minority that spoke during Tuesday\u2019s festivities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There were a number of speakers at the convention that were minorities–Democratic Rep. Artur Davis<\/a>, a black American<\/a>; Mia Love<\/a>, a black candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Utah<\/a>; and Texas senatorial hopeful Ted Cruz<\/a>, a Latino American<\/a>. When those people spoke, MSNBC stopped covering the convention and switched instead to their panel of commentators.<\/p>\n

I wonder if this election would even be close if we had an honest mainstream media.<\/p>\n
