Mr. Eldin is a member of the recently elected <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Parliament of Egypt\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Parliament_of_Egypt\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">Egyptian parliament<\/a>. He is also a member of a group designated as a terrorist group by the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667%20%28United%20States%29&amp;t=h\" rel=\"geolocation\" target=\"_blank\">United States<\/a> government.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports Ms. Napolitano&#8217;s answers to Rep. King&#8217;s questions about letting a known terrorist into the White House:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>\u201cI think we have to add more nuance to that,\u201d she said when King mentioned that Eldin is part of a designated foreign terrorist organization. \u201cWe have to know what the group was. Is it now a political party that is running the government of a country that has strong ties to the United States?\u201d She added that he went through three stages of vetting and \u201ceveryone who looked at this person felt confident that he was not a security risk to the White House or to the United States.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My question after watching the video is, &#8220;Didn&#8217;t anyone bother to check his <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Facebook features\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Facebook_features\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook page<\/a>?&#8221; I find the lack of research amazing.<\/p>\n<p>As someone who is not prone to nuance, I think this is nuts. One of the things Mr. Eldin did while at the White House was ask for the release of another terrorists&#8211;the Blind Sheik.
