He posted a <a href=\"http:\/\/datechguyblog.com\/2012\/04\/10\/but-not-in-the-washington-post-poll\/\">story<\/a>\u00a0today about recent polls touted by the Washington Post about the election in November and how voters feel about various\u00a0issues.\u00a0His story is based on a story posted at <a href=\"http:\/\/hotair.com\/archives\/2012\/04\/10\/wapoabc-poll-adds-seven-points-to-dem-advantage-in-sample\/\">Hot Air\u00a0<\/a>by Ed Morrissey.<\/p>\n<p>The secret to getting any poll to confirm anything you want confirmed is in determining who you ask the questions. The recent Washington Post\/ABC poll is the poster child for this technique.<\/p>\n<p>Datechguy points out:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>In a poll that is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2012\/04\/09\/gIQAQ5g26S_graphic.html\">only 23% republican<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney draw 42% and 44% respectively nearly double the GOP sample<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em><\/em>The president draws no better than 52%.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>In a poll only 23% republican and with a 11 point Democratic advantage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>the president can only manage a 3 pt advantage on jobs.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>In a poll with only 23% republicans Obama can only manage<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>A 55% rating on Woman\u2019s issues<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>A 53% rating on international affairs<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>and a 55% rating on being \u201cinspiring <\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>In a poll with only 23% republicans <em>the president can\u2019t crack 50% on<\/em>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Protecting the middle class<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Understanding people\u2019s problems,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dealing with Healthcare<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Supporting small business<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Handling terrorism<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Taxes<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>In a poll only 23% republican <em>Romney holds an advantage over Obama<\/em> on the issues of:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Energy Policy<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Handling the Economy<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>and holds a <em>double digit lead<\/em> on dealing with the deficit.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>America cannot afford four more years of Barack Obama. He has polarized the country along economic and racial lines, he has spent money like there was no tomorrow both personally and publicly, and he has politicized all the areas of the government he could in the time he has been in office. We need to clean house&#8211;get rid of all the political hacks in high places and replace them with people who love America. President Obama\u00a0does not seem to understand the whole concept of loving America&#8211;he\u00a0is too busy getting even for those things he considered the wrongs of the past.
