The article includes the following quote from the Science and Environmental Policy Project\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sepp.org\/twtwfiles\/2012\/Newsletter%202-4-12.pdf\">The Week That Was<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><em>On Thursday, Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune admitted that between 2007 and 2010 the organization took $26 Million from Chesapeake Energy Corporation for the Sierra Club\u2019s campaign against coal-fired electrical power plants. Chesapeake is one the nation\u2019s largest producers of natural gas and extensively uses deep underground hydraulic fracturing \u201cfracking\u201d and sees its future in natural gas-fired power plants.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><em>In making the announcement on the Sierra Club\u2019s web site, Brune implied that it will be joining in the campaign against \u201cfracking\u201d for natural gas. No doubt, the leadership of Chesapeake Energy is elated to hear that the animal they fed so generously to use against their competitors may soon turn on them, probably using the same tactics it used against Chesapeake\u2019s competitors in fuels to power electrical generation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Follow the money. It is unfortunate that money is flowing and people and organizations are being used in ways that do not do anything to solve the energy problems of our country. The environmentalists are not any more righteous than the rest of us.<\/p>\n<p>As I quoted in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=11734\">previous article<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><em>As the Forest Service used to say, the person who built his mountain cabin last year is an environmentalist.
