{"id":1128,"date":"2009-08-27T06:26:27","date_gmt":"2009-08-27T06:26:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=1128"},"modified":"2009-08-27T06:26:27","modified_gmt":"2009-08-27T06:26:27","slug":"who_is_telling_the_truth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=1128","title":{"rendered":"Who Is Telling The Truth?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/blogs\/beltway-confidential\/Obamacare-wont-cover-illegal-immigrants--55021087.html\">Washington Examiner<\/a>&nbsp;posted an article by Mark&nbsp;Tapscott&nbsp;on the proposed healthcare bill and the debate as to whether or not it covers illegal aliens.&nbsp; Well, according to the Congressional Research Service, it does.&nbsp; The article points out:<\/p>\n<blockquote dir=\"ltr\" style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\">\n<div><span><em>&#8220;Under H.R. 3200, a &#8216;Health Insurance Exchange&#8217; would begin operation in 2013 and would offer private plans alongside a public option&#8230;H.R. 3200 does not contain any restrictions on noncitzens&#8211;whether legally or illegally present, or in the United States temporarily or permanently&#8211;participating in the Exchange.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/div>\n<div><em><span>CRS also notes that the bill has no provision for&nbsp;<\/span>requiring those seeking coverage or services to provided proof of citizenship.
