A Great Example Of Should You Believe What You See Or What You Hear?

One America News is reporting today that DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has stated that he does not believe there is a crisis at the southern border of America.

The article reports:

While speaking during a White House press briefing on Monday, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was asked by a reporter about the migrant crisis and seemed to ignore the question.

When asked if he believed their was a crisis at the southern border, Mayorkas responded with a “no” and shifted to note their was simply “a challenge at the border” that was being managed.

This comes as Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials are reporting thousands of migrants are trying to cross into the U.S. while the border is being overrun by new caravans from Central America.

The article continues:

During his briefing, Secretary Mayorkas also failed to acknowledge human-smuggling at the border while suggesting alien minors could be legitimate refugees.

“We are not apprehending a 9-year-old child who’s come alone, who has traversed Mexico, whose parents, whose loving parents, had sent that child alone,” he stated. “We’re not expelling that 9-year-old child to Mexico when that child’s origin, country of origin, was Guatemala, Honduras or El Salvador.”

Critics have said “loving parents” do not send their children into crime ridden areas and have pointed to the documented cases of child exploitation and sex-trafficking in Northern Mexico.

According to reports, Customs and Border Protection expects roughly 13,000 unaccompanied children will attempt to illegally cross the border in May. This follows after a surge of child apprehensions recorded in February, which caused the Biden administration to open a facility in Texas.

Yesterday I posted an article about the free transportation being provided to people who have entered the country illegally. The illegal aliens are given a ticket to wherever they choose. This is one way to avoid the optics of large crowds at the border illegally entering America. Yes, there is a crisis. No, the Biden administration is not handling it well.

Forgetting Our Friends, Empowering Our Enemies

I suspect that at some point in the next six months sanctions on Iran will be dropped and we will enter into a flawed nuclear agreement with Iran. I know President Biden said he would not drop the sanctions, but I suspect that they will be dropped. This creates a problem in our relationship with Israel. Israel has been our most faithful ally in the Middle East and does not deserve to be treated like the red-headed-freckle-faced kid at the family reunion.

Yesterday One America News posted an article about the current situation.

The article reports:

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki denied criticism that claimed the Biden administration intentionally neglected Israel. In a press briefing Friday, Psaki blamed the administration’s brief time in office for the lack of communication between Joe Biden and his Israeli counterpart.

She also would not confirm if Biden plans to reach out to Israel in the near future. Psaki then attempted to assure reporters the lack of communication with Israel’s prime minister was not intentional.

The article concludes:

Meanwhile, an Israeli official took to Twitter earlier this week to urge Biden to contact the “closest ally of the U.S.” He noted Biden called several other ally nations since his time in office, adding now might be the time to communicate with Israel’s prime minister.

Somehow I suspect the Biden administration will treat Israel as badly as the Obama administration did–a lot of the same people are running the show.

There Are A Lot Of Attempts To End Any Discussion On This Topic

Unfortunately it seems as if a lot of the Fourth Estate has become a Fifth Column. Even so-called conservative news outlets are refusing to report on some of the irregularities in the 2020 presidential election. If you are wondering why reporting these irregularities might still be relevant, consider the fact that if they are not addressed properly, they will happen again. There are still some valid questions about the election. Joe Biden is our President, and we are not going to change that, but I would assume that most Americans want honest elections in our future.

The Gateway Pundit posted an article today titled, “Renowned Mathematician Edward Solomon Determines the 2020 Election Results at a Precinct Level Are “Impossible” and “Cannot Occur Naturally”.”

The article reports:

Mathematician Edward Solomon looked into the results of the 2020 election at a precinct level and determined they are  “impossible” and “cannot occur naturally.”

The results of the 2020 election are simply not possible.  When looking at the precinct level, mathematician Edward Solomon says computers must have used an algorithm to change the results.

One America News posted the following video (posted on Rumble) explaining the problem:

Again, I don’t think we can change the election at this point, but we should be able to prevent this from happening again.

Unfortunately This Shouldn’t Surprise Anyone

On Friday, One America News reported that Hunter Biden still has a 10% stake in a Chinese private equity firm despite the fact that President Biden promising that would not be the case.

The article reports:

Hunter Biden is reportedly still profiting off of his father’s name. In a tweet Friday, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said, “looks like Biden Inc. is still in business.”

…”The President’s son reportedly still has a 10 percent stake in a Chinese private equity firm,” Johnson added. “Despite Biden promising this wouldn’t happen.”

…Johnson was responding to reports that showed Chinese business records still had Hunter on the books through his private LLC. However, financial reports in December suggested Hunter was unloading his stake in those businesses.

During the 2020 campaign, President Biden repeatedly promised that no one in his family would continue to make foreign business deals if he was elected to office. I suppose that technically this is not a violation of that promise since the deal was made long before he was elected. It will be interesting to see if Hunter Biden divests himself from the Chinese company.

Two Patriotic Democrat Senators Helped Save The Republic

One America News is reporting today that at least for now, the filibuster will remain in the Senate.

The article reports:

Top senators from both sides of the aisle are laying down their arms and moving forward with talks over sharing power.

On Tuesday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell signaled an end to the fight over the Senate filibuster. He credited the truce to Democrat lawmakers Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), who McConnell said sided with the GOP.

“Senator Manchin, yesterday, made it clear he was not going to support getting rid of the legislative filibuster under any circumstances for the duration of this Congress,” McConnell stated. “I talked to Senator Sinema last night, she said the same thing, so the issue as far as I’m concerned is resolved.”

On Monday, McConnell said he would drop his push to get official confirmation that the upper chamber would keep the filibuster. He indicated the flipping of Sinema and Manchin waned Democrats’ power to kill the controversial practice.

There is another aspect to this. Historically Republicans are quite happy to be the minority in Congress. They don’t seem to know how to lead when they actually have power. Possibly because they don’t seem to be able to work as a team–even with each other. There were many opportunities for doing good things for the country while President Trump was in office that were lost because some Republicans didn’t like his tweets, or his hair, or his tie, or some other foolishness. The Republicans as they are currently in Congress do not deserve to be in leadership. They don’t know how to lead, and they have lost touch with the average American. There are a few exceptions to that, but only a few.

When The Actual Facts Don’t Match The Current Spin

Yesterday One America News posted an article about John Earle Sullivan, who is a supporter of Antifa, BLM and the leader of Insurgence USA..

The article reports:

John Earle Sullivan — who is a supporter of Antifa, BLM and the leader of Insurgence USA — is arrested and indicted in Utah.

…His arrest came after he was caught on video instigating violence on Capitol Hill and admitting that he posed as a Trump supporter during the demonstration on January 6.

“I’m gonna wear a Trump hat, I’m gonna wear a Trump hat,” Sullivan said. “I bought one today, I was wearing a Trump hat at the last rally during the day time.”

…Resurfaced videos — filmed by Sullivan himself — show that he was an active participant in clashes at the U.S. Capitol. The far-left activist even broke a window during the protest and admits it’s not the first time he’s posed as someone else.

…“Oh yeah I was just ‘a journalist,’” Sullivan stated in a video he recorded of himself. “But I use that all the time: ‘Yeah I’m just a journalist, I’m here recording, I got my camera on my shoulder.’”

…On Thursday, Sullivan was arrested in Provo, Utah. He faces several charges including ‘civil disorder’ and ‘violent entry’ or ‘disorderly conduct.’ He was previously arrested on July 13 for ‘rioting’ and ‘criminal mischief’ based on his activities at the June 30 protest, in which a civilian was shot and injured.

Everyone who puts on a MAGA hat is not a Trump supporter. I wonder if the House of Representatives, who gave no evidence to back up their charges against the President, will apologize for their now-proven false accusation.

This Doesn’t Look Good For The Future

Yesterday One America News posted an article about what has happened since Colorado implemented red flag laws a year ago.

The article reports:

According to the report released on Thursday, over 100 red flag protection orders were filed in 2020.

Police reportedly removed firearms from the homes of 66 people who were flagged by family members, legal guardians or law enforcement officers. Under the new law, a judge can approve firearm confiscation if there is a belief a person could be a threat to themselves or others.

One of the most recent instances of the order in action is in the case of Bryce Shelby, a man accused of making threats against the state’s attorney general and several other government officials.

Denver Police alleged Shelby’s behavior was escalating and through the red flag laws, they forced him to surrender his two rifles. Though the state’s attorney general chose not to press charges against Shelby, he will not regain possession of his firearms for a total of 364 days.

Several of the year’s emergency Extreme Risk Protection Orders were placed against law enforcement, but were shut down by the courts.

For example, early on in 2020, an inmate tried to claim Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams was a threat. The order request was sent to a judge who quickly threw it out for lack of evidence, which allowed some to say the law worked. However, Reams argues it showed the law can be used frivolously.

The article concludes:

Reams is among those who are the most skeptical of the new law due to its vague guidelines, which allow weapons to be confiscated even without criminal charges.

“But to go in and conduct a search warrant on someone’s home based on the word of a third party, I think that’s a huge overreach of the Constitution,” Reams stated. “And that’s where I’d have to draw the line.”

There has been a lot of debate over the constitutionality of red flag laws. The President has said he supports them at the federal level, but gun advocates argue the orders contradict the Second Amendment.

Andrew Napolitano, who served as a New Jersey Superior Court judge from 1987 to 1995,  said: “The concept of a red flag law violates both the presumption of innocence and the due process requirement of proof of criminal behavior before liberty can be infringed.”

Heading into the New Year with an incoming Democrat majority in the new Congress, many proponents of the right to bear arms worry about future restrictive gun laws.

Losing the Second Amendment while the First Amendment is on life support does not portend good things for the future of America.

Good News From The Manufacturing Sector

One America News reported yesterday that U.S. factory activity accelerated to its highest level in nearly 2-1/2 years in December.

The article reports:

The strength in manufacturing reported by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) on Tuesday likely helped to soften the blow on the economy in the fourth quarter from the relentless spread of COVID-19 and government delays in approving another rescue package to help businesses and the unemployed.

The article also notes that there are bottlenecks in the supply chains due to the increased number of coronavirus cases.

The article also concludes:

The ISM’s forward-looking new orders sub-index rose to a reading of 67.9 last month from 65.1 in November. Strong orders growth boosted manufacturing employment, which had contracted in November. The ISM’s manufacturing employment gauge rebounded to 51.5 from a reading of 48.4 in November.

But the supply chain gridlock is driving up costs for manufacturers. The survey’s prices paid index jumped to a reading of 77.6 last month, the highest since May 2018, from 65.4 in November. That raises the risk of higher inflation this year, though high unemployment could limit price pressures.

The labor market has lost steam in tandem with the economy since job growth peaked at a record 4.781 million in June.

According to an early Reuters survey of economists, nonfarm payrolls probably increased by 100,000 jobs last month after rising by 245,000 in November. That would mean the economy recouped about 12.5 million of the 22.2 million jobs lost in March and April. The government is scheduled to publish December’s employment report on Friday.

Manufacturing has come back to America because of the trade policies of President Trump. People in areas of the country that have had high unemployment for years have gotten their manufacturing jobs back. It is a pretty safe bet that under Joe Biden, China will take over American manufacturing again and the American worker will be out of luck.

Moving Forward In The Investigation

One America News posted an article today reporting that a Michigan judge approved a probe into potential voting machine fraud in the Great Lake State.

The article reports:

The Trump legal team is reviewing Dominion voting machines in Michigan after a state judge issued a decision to allow them to. The order was issued on Friday and it permits forensic photos to be taken from the 22 precinct tabulators in Antrim County.

President Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, praised the decision and said that allowing the forensic review is a “big win for honest elections.”

The article concludes:

Local authorities confirmed the machines in question are the same as the ones that were used in the presidential election on November 3.

The machines were originally brought into question by a voter who claimed ballots were damaged during a recent recount of a marijuana proposal vote.

A similar examination recently occurred in Georgia as President Trump has raised concerns of widespread voter fraud, which rigged the elections.

Stay tuned.

Good News From Texas

One America News is reporting today that authorities in Texas rescued dozens of people who were being held hostage in a home in Houston in a suspected human smuggling operation.

The article reports:

Police were alerted to the situation Thursday night after receiving reports of a man running in a neighborhood with just his underwear and yelling that he had been kidnapped. The man directed police to the home where he had escaped.

Upon arrival, authorities found 30 people who were nearly naked inside the home. The victims included 29 men and one woman who said they were being held against their will. Police said they arrested at least three alleged suspects.

…Authorities said the victims were originally picked up near the U.S.-Mexico border and came from countries including Mexico, Honduras and El Salvador. The victims were taken to a local school gym, where they waited for immigration officials.

Another reason our southern border needs to be secure–to protect innocent people from being taken advantage of by coyotes.

Video Evidence

The Epoch Times posted an article today about voter fraud in Georgia. The article includes a video from One America News:

It is becoming very obvious that something illegal happened in Georgia when the votes were counted.

The article reports:

President Donald Trump’s legal team on Thursday presented surveillance footage to a Georgia State Legislature hearing that appears to show election ballot-counting workers kicking out poll observers late at night on Election Day before pulling out suitcases allegedly filled with ballots.

A woman who identified herself as Jackie Pick, a lawyer who is assisting with their legal case, said the team received video footage from State Farm Arena’s vote-tabulation center in Fulton County, Georgia. The team said that GOP poll watchers were not allowed to watch the counting process in the poll center.

But, according to Pick, an unusual occurrence took place later in the evening at around 10 p.m. ET. A woman—described as a blonde woman with braids—told workers to stop counting and told everyone to go home.

“Everyone clears out, including the Republican observers and the press, but four people stay behind and continue counting and tabulating well into the night,” Pick said. They counted unobserved until about 1 a.m.

Pick said that video footage shows Fulton County election workers waiting at their scanning areas until GOP poll watchers and reporters left the room before they started “scanning ballots,” ostensibly without any observation. Pick noted that it contravenes state and county law.

At 11 p.m., once everyone is gone, the workers are seen “pulling ballots out from underneath a table.” She asked if it’s normal to “store suitcases of ballots under a table cloth?” Pick said after reviewing footage that it’s not a normal procedure.

It’s not clear if election workers knew they were being recorded on camera.

The lawyer further alleged that the same woman with the blonde hair and braids, presumably the manager, had placed the table there earlier. It’s not clear where those ballots came from, and it’s not clear when the suitcases of thousands of ballots were placed under the table.

We definitely need a do-over.

As The Witnesses Testify, Is Anyone Listening? Is Anyone Reporting It?

One America News posted an article about the whistleblowers that have come forward with reports of election fraud. The article includes the videos below:

I just want to note here that One America News has been suspended from YouTube because they posted a video that did not agree with YouTube’s viewpoint on the coronavirus. I am sure YouTube would not have appreciated these videos either.

The article reports:

Whistleblowers in Virginia recently chose to speak out in an effort to preserve election integrity. The Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society law firm held a press conference Tuesday, where a number of whistleblowers gave eyewitness testimony on election fraud in key battleground states.

The Amistad Project had uncovered hundreds-of-thousands of ballots affected by election fraud in five states, including Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. They have demanded election officials send logs and video of ballot handlers at several polling locations, especially at mail-in ballot drop boxes.

Several whistleblowers were subcontractors with the United States Postal Service (USPS) and alleged they faced problems working with the department. One man from Wisconsin claimed he saw only one ballot go out on November 2 and none on Election Day. On November 4, however, the local USPS chapter declared there were at least 100,000 ballots missing.

Another subcontractor from New York said he experienced weird behavior at two Pennsylvania USPS locations. He explained that officials from the first location held him there for more than six-hours and didn’t allow him to unload his trailer. Then at the second location, USPS officials took his whole trailer when he went to pick-up his truck.

There is too much smoke here not to have a fire. Election results in the places where election fraud can be proved or testified to should be thrown out. If we don’t get this right, it will continue to happen.

So What Exactly Is Congress Doing?

Yesterday One America News posted an article about what Congress needs to accomplish in the next two weeks. There are a lot of things to be done. The question is whether or not they can work together successfully enough to get them done. Just for the record, calls for unity seem a little odd to me in a world where Congress can’t even find unity on things the American people need.

The article reports:

The biggest item on the legislative to-do list is an agreement on government funding. Congress faces a December 11 deadline to pass a government-funding bill and to avoid a shutdown.

Reports said negotiations over Thanksgiving ended with a deal on spending levels for the 12 2021 fiscal appropriation bills.

The chairs of the Senate and House Appropriations Committees said they would sit down to hammer out the final details. Committee staff and the White House would finalize each of the spending bills.

In early November, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said the bills will fully fund several ‘crucial priorities,’ which includes securing the border to supporting public health.

…Negotiations also continue toward another coronavirus relief bill while both Democrats and Republicans remain at a stalemate over a dollar amount.

McConnell has pointed to several senators still backing a $500 billion proposal blocked by Democrats. However, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) continue to hold firm on a $2.2 trillion bill as a starting point for talks.

Congress is expected to work overtime in a push to come to an agreement on a proposal.

There is also some attempted silliness that may make compromise difficult:

Lawmakers also said they want to resolve a fight over a plan to rename military bases as part of a military policy bill.

President Trump has already threatened to veto a bill if it includes language that would force the Pentagon to rename “problematic” bases.

These issues are compounded by the fact that control of the Senate for Congress’s next session remains up in the air as Georgia’s runoff races won’t be concluded until after the new year.

The Pentagon does not need to waste its time renaming “problematic” bases. There are enough real threats to America around the world that need their attention.

Understanding The Power Of The Press

One America News reported yesterday that The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is spending millions on ad space to spread pro-China messages across the United States.

The article notes:

The U.S. Department of Justice reported that in just the last four years, Beijing has spent nearly $19 million in an attempt to push pro-China narratives within the country.

The payments have been on behalf of Beijing-controlled China Daily newspaper, which is an English language publication produced by the CCP that has paid millions of dollars just this year.

Publications like the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Los Angeles Times have received these payments for running pro-China ads on their websites and printed publication. The paid advertisements are designed to look like real news articles, while often containing a pro-Beijing twist on contemporary news events.

Please understand what is happening here–the mainstream media such as the Wall Street Journal and The New York Times have been losing money because they have become so biased. The Chinese advertising revenue is one of the things keeping them afloat. The fact that some of these ads are designed to look like real news articles is an indication of the goal–subvert any American policy that is unfriendly to China. This is probably one of many reasons the mainstream media does not support the trade policies of President Trump that leveled the playing field with China.

The article includes the following screenshot:

This is one of many reasons Americans should not trust the mainstream media.

We Have Heard The Evidence, What Happens Next?

I watched the press conference this morning held by Rudy Giuliani and other lawyers representing President Donald Trump’s campaign about election fraud in the 2020 presidential election. It will be very interesting to see how the courts react to the evidence. It seems as if the evidence is overwhelming–a lot of signed affidavits and a lot of statistical anomalies.

There are a number or articles on the Internet about what was done. I am going to focus on two of them.

One America News posted an article today reporting the following:

President Trump is pointing to the latest evidence of an illegal ballot-dump in Wisconsin. In a tweet Wednesday, the President said Democrat Joe Biden received a major dump of more than 143,000 ballots on the night after the election.

He noted, the illegal dump took place in the early morning hours on November 4 when Democrats realized they were losing in the state. The 2020 Trump campaign is now mounting a legal challenge to prevent the certification of fraudulent election results in Wisconsin.

The article includes a graph illustrating what happened.

The article continues:

Meanwhile, witnesses of voting fraud in Detroit, Michigan have come forward to detail alleged ballot dumps in favor of Biden. In a video testimony Wednesday, poll worker Kristina Karamo said she personally witnessed spoiled and invalid ballots being awarded to Biden.

“It was like so much going on, but I did personally witness the ballots being delivered between 3 o’clock and 3:30 a.m.,” she stated. “So I did personally witness ballots arriving at the time.”

Karamo, who worked at Detroit’s TCF Center, also said election officials did not review signatures on ballots. She added, suspicious batches of ballots were delivered to the TCF Center at night and all of them went to Biden.

Breitbart posted an article today listing nine key points from the press conference:

1. Observers were allegedly prevented from watching mail-in ballots being opened.

2. Allegedly unequal application of the law in Democratic counties.

3. Voters allegedly arrived at the polls to discover other people had voted for them.

4. Election officials were allegedly told not to look for defects in ballots, and to backdate ballots.

5. Ballots casting votes for Joe Biden and no other candidates were allegedly run several times through machines.

6. Absentee ballots were accepted in Wisconsin without being applied for first.

7. There were allegedly “overvotes,” with some precincts allegedly recording more voters than residents, among other problems.

8. Voting machines and software are allegedly owned by companies with ties to the Venezuelan regime and to left-wing donor George Soros.

9. The Constitution provides a process for electing a president if the vote is corrupted.

Please follow the link above to the article to see the details.

It will be interesting to see if the mainstream media covers this and how they cover it.

Strange Events In Michigan And Pennsylvania

One America News posted an article yesterday about some shenanigans in the vote counting in Michigan. The article includes a video about vote counting in Michigan.

Project Veritas posted the following video on youtube:

Project Veritas posted a similar video on youtube about shenanigans in Pennsylvania:

There are some states that need to vote again–their vote counting has not been reliable.

Interesting Lawsuit

Yesterday One America News posted an article about Whitey Bulger. Whitey Bulger was a well-known figure to anyone who lived near Boston, Massachusetts. He was the boss of Boston’s notorious Winter Hill Gang (aka Irish Mafia).

On March 22, 2018, The New American reported:

Whitey Bulger, as The New American detailed back in 1998 (“FBI Covering for Criminals”), was the murderous boss of Boston’s notorious Winter Hill Gang, also known as the “Irish Mafia.” For two decades (1975-1994) Bulger led a charmed existence, as his brutal gang carried out their crime rampage under the FBI’s protection! Time after time, Massachusetts state and local police had their elaborate, years-long investigations of Bulger foiled by FBI interference. FBI Special Agent John Connolly and John Morris, who was in charge of the FBI’s Boston Organized Crime Squad, were Bulger’s protectors and would tip him off to investigations and wiretaps by other police agencies. This corrupt FBI-Bulger relationship was dramatized in Martin Scorcese’s 2006 film, The Departed, starring Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Matt Damon. In 1994, Bulger was tipped off by his FBI handler John Connolly that investigators were closing in on him. He went on the lam and eluded capture for 16 years. He was arrested in California in 2011 and went on trial in 2013, charged with 32 counts of racketeering, including 19 murders. The jury convicted Bulger of 31 of the 32 counts, including 11 of the 19 murders. He was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences plus five years.

Oddly enough, there are some connections between Whitey Bulger and Robert Mueller (as reported in The New American):

In her March 20 blog post. Sarah Carter links to a noteworthy 2011 article by Boston Globe columnist Kevin Cullen entitled, “A lingering question for the FBI Director.” The FBI Director Cullen was referring to was then-Director Robert Mueller, who had previously been one of the DOJ attorneys tasked with overseeing the FBI-Bulger criminal operation. The Cullen article introduces readers to objections raised against Mueller by Mike Albano, a former member of the Massachusetts parole board and the former mayor of Springfield, Massachusetts. He was objecting at the time to the reappointment of Mueller as FBI chief.

While on the parole board, Albano had become convinced that the FBI and DOJ had framed four men with bogus evidence for the 1965 gangland murder of a Boston hoodlum named Teddy Deegan. Albano decided to vote in favor of parole for Peter Limone, one of the four. “So in 1983, after Albano indicated he might vote to release Limone, he got a visit from a pair of FBI agents named John Connolly and John Morris,” Cullen reported. “They told Albano that the men convicted of Deegan’s murder were bad guys, made guys. ‘They told me that if I wanted to stay in public life, I shouldn’t vote to release a guy like Limone,’ Albano said. ‘They intimidated me.’’’

The FBI and DOJ framed the four scapegoats, who were then sent to prison for the Deegan murder to protect Bulger, his henchman Steve “The Rifleman” Flemmi, and Flemmi’s brother, Vincent “Jimmy” Flemmi. “After Albano was elected mayor of Springfield in 1995, he soon found the FBI hot on his tail, investigating his administration for corruption,” Cullen noted. “The FBI took down several people in his administration, and Albano is convinced that the FBI wasn’t interested in public integrity as much as in publicly humiliating him because he dared to defy them.”

In 2001, Albano was vindicated. The four men who had been wrongly convicted in the Deegan murder were exonerated. Two of them had already died in prison. As a result of this shocking government malfeasance, the two surviving victims and the families of the deceased were awarded compensation of $100 million — courtesy of the taxpayers.

“Albano was appalled that, later that same year, Mueller was appointed FBI director, because it was Mueller, first as an assistant U.S. attorney then as the acting U.S. attorney in Boston, who wrote letters to the parole and pardon boards throughout the 1980s opposing clemency for the four men framed by FBI lies,” writes the Boston Globe’s Cullen. “Of course, Mueller was also in that position while Whitey Bulger was helping the FBI cart off his criminal competitors even as he buried bodies in shallow graves along the Neponset.”

Fast forward to today.

One America News reports:

The family of one of America’s most notorious crime bosses is seeking justice for his death in prison. According to reports, the family of James ‘Whitey’ Bulger recently filed a civil lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Prisons and 30 unnamed employees.

They have alleged the prison system failed to protect Bulger who was killed within 12-hours after transferring to the U.S. Penitentiary Hazelton in West Virginia. Additionally, they argued the prison knew they were putting Bulger in harms way because they failed to take precautions to protect him even though he was well known for being a “snitch.”

“They should get the answers they’ve been looking for,” said Steve Davis, brother of Bulger. “To me, I think it was all premeditated…I think it was all set from his whole move, they just waited for the write time.”

Bulger was one of America’s most wanted criminals for 16 years after fleeing Boston in late 1994. At 81-years-old, he was captured in Santa Monica, California in 2013 and later convicted for participating in 11 murders.

Bulger was sent to federal prisons in Florida and Arizona before being transferred to Hazelton. He was allegedly beaten by a lock-and-sock type weapon. His killer is still not yet known.

Oh the tales that Whitey Bulger could have told…

Somehow I Don’t Expect To See This In The Mainstream Media

Today One America News posted an article about the information found on Hunter Biden’s laptop computer.

The article reports:

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe has said Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of a Russian disinformation campaign. In an interview Monday, he called out Democrat House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff for claiming such.

Ratcliffe stated the Intelligence Community does not believe Schiff’s claims because there is no intelligence to support them. The Republican also has said the laptop is in the jurisdiction of the FBI and the Intelligence Committee has not been involved in the matter.

The emails in question detail Hunter’s ties to corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs and Chinese officials who paid him for introducing them to his father when he was vice president.

Republican Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) fired off a letter to FBI Director Chris Wray, urging him to disclose if the agency is probing emails reportedly from Hunter’s laptop.

Johnson has asked Wray to inform the panel if the agency has taken any action regarding those emails. The lawmaker also questioned what the FBI knew about Hunter and when they knew it, while noting it speaks to a “larger issue.”

This comes as outrage surrounding the emails continues to grow.

The article includes the following Tweet:

The media is trying to bury this story. Hopefully they will not succeed.

A Wonderful Choice

One America News is reporting today that President Trump has nominated 48-year-old Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court. If she is confirmed, she will be the youngest justice on the court.

The article reports:

“Today it is my honor to nominate one of our nation’s most brilliant and gifted legal minds to the Supreme Court,” he (President Trump) said. “She is a woman of unparalleled achievement, towering intellect, sterling credentials and unyielding loyalty to the Constitution.”

Judge Barrett thanked the President and his administration for their kindness and the honor of being nominated.

“If the Senate does me the honor of confirming me, I pledge to discharge the responsibilities of this job to the very best of my ability,” she stated. “I love the United States, and I love the United States Constitution.”

If she is appointed to the Supreme Court, she noted she will “be mindful of who came before me.”

“I am truly humbled by the prospect of serving on the Supreme Court,” added Barrett.

I hope that she will be more mindful of Justice Antonin Scalia than of Justice Ginsburg.

The article notes some highlights of Judge Barrett’s career:

Judge Barrett’s legal career began when she graduated from Notre Dame Law School in 1997.

She went on to clerk for late conservative Justice Antonin Scalia, where she earned a reputation among her associates for “destroying flimsy legal arguments.”

Barrett then went on to practice and teach law in Indiana for the next 15 years.

The nominee has been a federal judge at an appellate court in Chicago for the past three years, where her reputation as a conservative has grown. The Catholic judge has become a well-known, staunch opponent of abortion.

She has hinted she would want to leave the basic right of abortion in place, but also allow states to make some abortions difficult to acquire.

“I don’t think the core case that women have a right to an abortion will change, but I think the question of whether people can get very late term abortions, how many restrictions can be put on clinics, will change,” she said.

Also prominent in Barrett’s list of policies was her stance on healthcare. In 2017, she denounced Justice John Robert’s decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act. Experts have predicted she will pose a threat to Obamacare moving forward.

Regarding guns, Judge Barrett previously struck down a federal law that barred felons from owning guns. She is expected to be a firm advocate for the Second Amendment.

Hopefully we can have a civilized confirmation process. The Democrats didn’t do themselves any favors in the way they treated the confirmation hearings of Justice Kavanaugh, and they lost Congressional seats because of it. Hopefully they will be more courteous and more inclined to follow a more reasonable confirmation process this time.

Good News

Yesterday One America News posted an article about progress toward a coronavirus vaccine.

The article reports:

According to the CEO of Pfizer, the company’s coronavirus vaccine is likely to get approved before 2021. On Sunday, Albert Bourla announced the pharmaceutical company will probably know whether their vaccine works or not by October of this year.

“I don’t know if they have to wait until 2021,” he said.

In the meantime, Bourla confirmed Pfizer has manufactured hundreds of thousands of doses to distribute and is still preparing more.

“We started already manufacturing and have manufactured hundreds of thousands of doses,” he explained. “So just in case we have a good study read out, conclusive and FDA plus the advisory committee feels comfortable, that we will be ready.”

Hopefully, we will have the vaccine quickly.

Getting The Job Done–Even When You Have To Do It Alone

One America News reported yesterday that President Trump has signed four executive orders designed to alleviate some of the economic disruption caused by the coronavirus.

The article reports:

On Saturday, he signed a payroll tax initiative, which will defer payroll tax to those making less than $100,000 a year until the end of 2020.

…The president has renewed supplemental unemployment benefits at $400 a week. This new amount came in just below the previous $600 extra, which Americans were receiving before the enhance benefits expired earlier this month.

…He also provided assistance to renters by imposing a partial moratorium on evictions and suspended mandatory student loan payments through the end of the year.

…The president has expressed he had to step in because Democrats in Congress have not stepped up to the plate.

“Democrats have refused these offers,” said President Trump. “What they really want is bailout money for states that are run by Democrat governors and mayors, which have been run very badly for many, many years.”

This is a stroke of genius. The bill that the House of Representatives put forth included a lot of things that have nothing to do with the coronavirus, and they refused to negotiate on anything less. We don’t need national mail-in voting–we stand in line at the grocery store, at Home Depot, and at WalMart almost every day. We don’t need to bail out badly-run states–they need to clean up their own budgets first (and Washington also needs to do some serious spending reduction).

The Democrats are unhappy. They might take this to court, but if they do, they will be fighting a President who signed an executive order to help Americans while Congress could not come to agreement on doing anything. Even if they won in court, they would lose in the court of public opinion, and the election is less than three months away.

This was a brilliant move on the part of the President.

Protests Are Legal; Riots And Shooting Are Not

One America News reported yesterday that the suspect who allegedly opened fire at a Kentucky protest has been arrested. On Sunday, Louisville police confirmed the suspect is in custody and has been hospitalized.

ABC News reported the following yesterday:

The suspect behind Saturday’s fatal shooting in Louisville, Kentucky, has been arrested.

Steven Nelson Lopez was taken into custody by police after being caught on surveillance video opening fire in Jefferson Square Park during a protest against Breonna Taylor’s death.

Lopez will be charged with murder, according to authorities.

On Saturday night, Lopez shot into the crowd of protesters and fatally injured a photographer, Tyler Gerth, 27, who died at the scene despite paramedics’ help.

Another protester was also injured, and Lopez was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One America News reports:

According to authorities, the suspect had already been arrested multiple times in recent weeks for his behavior.

“We are conferring with the attorney’s office on appropriate charges to be filed. This man had been participating in the protests since they began. He had been arrested a couple of times over the past several weeks. He had been repeatedly asked by other members in the park to leave due to his disruptive behavior.” – Chief Robert Schroeder, Louisville Police Department

Protesting is legal. Looting and rioting are not.

The Senate Actually Passed A Bill

One America News is reporting today that the Senate has passed a bill sanctioning Chinese officials over the country’s actions against Hong Kong. The bipartisan Hong Kong Autonomy Act passed with unanimous consent Thursday.

This is good news. China needs to pay a price for what it has done to Hong Kong. Otherwise Taiwan is next. Taiwan is probably next anyway, but at least we can try to slow things down a little.

The article reports:

The bill would place sanctions on businesses, individuals and police that interfere with Hong Kong’s freedoms. This came after China announced a national security law that is expected pass on June 30, which is threatening Hong Kong’s autonomy.

A resolution introduced by Sen. Josh Hawley (r-Mo.) was also approved, formally condemning China’s’ actions.

“The Senate needs to act now, Mr. President, to send a clear signal now that we will stand up to this aggression,” he stated. “…to rally free peoples now in defense of the rights and liberties of Hong Kong.”

Hitting China in the pocketbook is probably the only was to deal with them successfully.

What A Great Idea!

Yesterday One America News posted an article about the use of robots to sanitize places and things to stop the spread of the virus.

The article reports:

A company from Argentina is using robots in the fight against the coronavirus. UVD Robotics has been testing a new product that can sanitize both spaces and objects with ultraviolet light.

On Friday, developers tested the robot on a bus, where it was able to clean seats, walls and floor using just UV light.

According to the World Health Organization, cleaning products with chemicals such as bleach or hydrogen peroxide traditionally are only 60 percent effective against germs. UV light reportedly eliminates bacteria 99 percent of the time.

“Ultraviolet light is a light that the sun emits naturally,” explained CEO Martin Gonzalez. “In this case, we use type ‘C,’ which is very high energy and works by destroying the DNA of bacteria, the RNA in the case of viruses, thus avoiding propagation or spread.”

He added the robot can also be used to protect health care workers, who are being exposed to bacteria in hospital rooms.

What a great idea! You don’t have to clean up chemicals, you don’t have to worry about inhaling fumes, and almost all of the germs are killed.
