Minnesota Recount Continues...

According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the recount trial judges have allowed as many as 4,800 absentee ballots previously rejected to be reviewed.  It's a rather long article, but the basic message is that the race is not over yet and there's not enough information yet to acurately declare a winner.  My only hope in this situation is that every legal vote is counted and that every legal vote only counts once.  That should be the goal of all this legal posturing that is going on--the recount was triggered automatically by the closeness of the election.  The message here is that enough people voted for Al Franken to make it a close race.  Anything that happens as a result of that is deserved.
