On July 17th the New York Post published an article by Betsy McCaughey on the healthcare plan currently being promoted by President Obama. Betsy McCaughey is the founder of the Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths and a former lieutenant governor of New York. She hosts a webside called Defend Your Healthcare.
According to her research:
"Two main bills are being rushed through Congress with the goal of combining them into a finished product by August. Under either, a new government bureaucracy will select health plans that it considers in your best interest, and you will have to enroll in one of these "qualified plans." If you now get your plan through work, your employer has a five-year "grace period" to switch you into a qualified plan. If you buy your own insurance, you'll have less time."
This does not sound like an improvement in healthcare. The dangers to senior citizens in this bill are many--rationed care will lead to care denied to the elderly. The bill also has a provision to could be used to encourage senior citizens to refuse treatment:
"One troubling provision of the House bill compels seniors to submit to a counseling session every five years (and more often if they become sick or go into a nursing home) about alternatives for end-of-life care (House bill, p. 425-430). The sessions cover highly sensitive matters such as whether to receive antibiotics and "the use of artificially administered nutrition and hydration."
This mandate invites abuse, and seniors could easily be pushed to refuse care. Do we really want government involved in such deeply personal issues?"

I know what's really going on with the healthcare. You see, this was a non-issue back in the day, without employers having to pay for non-workers' comp type injuries. But now they do. All these complicated premiums. Wow, it's all greek to me. Cut out all the filter and gobbledygook bullshit, and it comes down to liability lingo. Should the employer have to pay out of pocket for non-job related injuries NO!! It's discouraging employers from hiring people who they'll have to pay more for, which means NO JOBS FOR PEOPLE, STUPID. That's fucking with working class people like myself and makes it rougher for MY ECONOMY, stupid. And when they say healthcare, they don't really mean healthcare. They mean health monitoring. Don't smoke, drive hybrid cars, it's healthier. Reduce your carbon footprint, it's healthier. Don't eat this. Don't eat that. Go on a diet, it's healthier. Low fat this and low fat that. It's healthier. And the same time, antibiotics as generic Zithromax continues to rise in price. You know what I am saying is the god damn truth, so stop lying, Obama, you fucking pig.
