Government Spending And Unemployment

This chart is from the American Spectator

It seems to me form looking at the chart that although you can temporarily decrease unemployment with government spending, but it is a temporary fix.  It worked to some degree in the late 1960's, but the lowest unemployment on the chart was in 2000 when government spending was low.  As government spending increased, so did unemployment.  Government spending is not the answer to the problems we face now.
