Jimmy Carter Criticizes Bush Economic Policies

If this were not totally pathetic, it would be funny.  Do you remember the Carter years--gas lines, 18 percent mortgages, unemployment, the invention of the "misery index" because things were so bad that they had no way to measure them?  This is rich.  The article is at Reuters.  Meanwhile as we speak, the price of oil has dropped to $80 a barrel.  As we watch OPEC cut production to raise the price, we may remember why we need to be energy independent.  Just a note, a vote for Obama is a vote to relive the Carter years.
