According to an article in Hot Air The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy reports that opium production in Afghanistan will plunge by almost one third this year. That's good news for the U.S. troops, bad news for junkies, and bad news for the Taliban. Hopefully, we will be able to help the Afghanis come up with other ways to make a living.
